  I have purchased many items from Stokers, Ormskirk. Two suites, carpets, rugs, beds. I have always been satisfied but I am really disappointed with the experience of trying to purchase a twilight rug in gold. We ordered it on 29 th February and told it would be two weeks. We paid for it straight away. After nearly three weeks I telephoned only to be told that they were having difficulty getting the colour because gold was a new colour. I said that was strange because I had bought the same rug in same colour from stokers two years previously. I was then told different supplier. Tina then told me that it would be mid April which would make it nearly 7 weeks. I agreed to wait. 15 April I telephoned and only then did they chase supplier. I had a phone call to say that they were having trouble because of colour and it would be another 3 weeks. I asked to speak to Manager and was told he would not be in until following Friday. I ask for a refund and said I would ring back on Friday. I telephoned to be told he was on holiday until Monday. All in all a week later no refund has been received and I have not been able to speak to Manager. Told refunds take 5-10 days because of paperwork going to Head Office. I just dont think this service is good enough for valued customers. It is now nearly eight weeks and I have neither rug or refund.
